This is quite strange. I still have Feisty myself so I can’t test it, but maybe go to the website for vpnc: http://www.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/~massar/vpnc/

And then try:

(a) The latest version, or,
(b) Version 0.4.0, which was the version in the Feisty repositories

That’s all I can think of for now. If you do try the different versions please tell me how that goes!

Hi there;

Unfortunately the new release of ubuntu, the Hardy Heron, doesn’t work with the vpn network anymore, I have been using my old Ubuntu machine with our vpn network for a while, but after installing the new ubuntu vpnc doesn’t work anymore, I have no idea why (It used to work like a charm, as you showed);
I am going to try to compile the Cisco vpn client and see if i have any luck there, but this is really really frustrating, I have been having so many problems, and I have even spoken several times to the IT staff at uOttawa, and they never were able to help me, which is odd since most ECE departments use a lot of Linux and make sure there is no Linux compatibility issues with their infrastructure;

oh well, If you guys figure it out let me know;

Thanks this guide is awesome. Its a good way to learn more about Linux by actively using the cli instead of the gui for a change!

Thank you for the comment Annie. Seroquel is great because it has no side effects for me except for causing dry mouth and nose. It also helped me sleep and that was an immense help to me as well.

Hello! It is me again, what a rough situation you have had. I am sorry to hear you failed the classes. It sounds like you gave yourself a break and understand that the hypo-mania was the culprit. You are on two helpful medications, I am on both. As you go along you will be able to level out your mood swings and things will be better.
