More Information On Icosahedron
This is my blog, “Icosahedron”, the /dev/null of my brain, written by yours truly, manpage. My nickname comes from the Unix help files known as man pages. I’m finishing up an undergrad degree now.
This blog is mainly for my various interests, and I like using it to practice writing. I’ll probably have to do a lot of that in my professional career and practice makes perfect. However, some of it is useful as well. I am interesting in mathematics, mathematical psychology, sexuality, piano, Bach, weightlifting, programming, Linux, and a few other things.
More Information On The Author
I want to get my Ph.D. in something, most likely mathematics. But, for all I know ten years down the road I could be living in a shack deep in a jungle by a river filled with piranhas. Beware of my pet piranhas a sign will say.
My academic interest is mainly psychology. Have you ever read the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov? Well I want to come up with a theory like Seldon’s - a kind of mathematization of psychology that can predict the future. The idea in that book has been with me ever since I read it, although I’m still figuring out how I can actually do anything about it. I want to go into mathematical psychology although it won’t yet allow me to predict the future.
Anyway, I am also bipolar and I am currently on medication for it, and I write about it now on the blog. Here are the available posts so far on my life and bipolar:
